was That 50s Wrestling Beauty who was as hot as they came on the mat.

Cleveland, Ohio Brutality: We go back to August 27,1952 in Cleveland, Ohio for a live
studio TV Woman's Wrestling match. It was a hot night in more ways than one. At opening
bell it was 96 degrees and humid. Top contender, the extremely rough and tough June
Byers, faces off against former circus acrobat and pin-up girl, Jane Collins aka Mars
Bennett. For the first twenty minutes June gradually and scientifically wore Jane down in her
usual cruel way that had taught fans by the thousands to hate her. Then Byers really put
the heat on her with a long series of jarring dropkicks to Jane Collins' head and body. June
then delivered a perfect pile driver that left her debilitated. Instead of going for a certain pin
on the groggy girl, June locked Jane up in a surfboard. June increased the pressure more
and more as she periodically boot stomped Jane's' left arm. After five long minutes of agony
Jane finally submitted. A reporter asked Miss Byers, "Why didn't you just pin Miss Collins
instead of torturing her like that?" June replied, "Listen up you dumb pansy, I didn't murder
her did I. I just wanted to give that ignorant girl something to remember for the next time
she dares step into the ring with me. In this racket you need all the edge you can get. Now
you just go home and have your mommy change your dipper, you sissy boy you." June then
walked to the locker room with a triumphant smile on her sensually painted lips as Miss

Lockwood, a skilled veteran at 21. It was give and take for 20 minutes and then
